Quality Policy

As Umur Stationery, we aim to be the brands and products that our consumers and customers prefer whenever they need it, by offering products that meet or exceed the expectations of our consumers and customers.

We aim to grow in a sustainable and profitable way by delivering the design, production and delivery quality of our products to our customers and consumers within certain standards.

For this purpose, all Umur Kırtasiye A.Ş. Employees must:

  • Evaluation, testing and inspection of our products, which have successfully passed the product safety tests at and above European and Turkish standards, at various stages from the idea stage to the design and marketing stage,
  • To work to continuously improve the experience of our products and services, our customers and consumers until they reach their sales points, homes, schools or offices,
  • To comply with national and international terms and standards,
  • To constantly review, improve and develop Quality Management Systems.

Umur Stationery Inc. management and all employees work to provide products and services in these standards, to offer and implement suggestions for continuous development and improvement.

All these rules and perspectives; Product quality in all aspects including design, formula, raw materials, packaging, production, storage, shipment, display, marketing, communication, sales and disposal, with products and services produced by world brands that we manufacture. This applies as we are partner suppliers and representatives.

DUE DILIGENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

POLICY

The EU Timber Regulation (October 20, 2010, 995/2010) sets out the obligations of the first operators entering the domestic market, timber and timber products as well as the traders.

On March 3, 2013, the EU Timber Regulations (EUTR) entered into force to stop the circulation of illegally harvested timber and timber products in the European Union.

 

In order to guarantee full compliance with the regulations, as UMUR Kırtasiye San. ve Tic. AŞ we;

  • Fulfill our Legal, Social and Environmental Responsibilities.
  • Ensure to establish, maintain and continually improve the Due Diligence Management System.
  • Are determined to supply the materials processed and/or traded in according to the applicable legislation.
  • Ensure to evaluate and confirm the information about the suppliers and sources of the materials according to Supply Chain Management.
  • Collect and confirm the necessary information to enable the Risk Assessment.
  • Conduct the Risk Assessment and carry out the Risk Mitigation actions.
  • Conduct the Risk Assessment for our suppliers and their supplies to evaluate the risks of the material being supplied from an illegal source or illegally bought and sold.
  • Carry out Risk Mitigation actions to avoid the potential risks, if the risk is not considered as negligible risk.
  • Keep our records according to periods specified in the regulation.
  • Supply certified timber products or timbers from controlled origins.
